Whitney learned to capture the power of authenticity while honing her skills as a street performer. Raised with rhythm and blues in her blood, but while growing up in the Pacific Northwest, her music was heavily influenced by the rock scene of the 90’s coining her own genre, Alternative Soul.

Stop by the gallery for an informal meet & greet with amazing local artist Keegan Hall. Keegan is our featured artist for the month and has an impressive exhibit in the gallery showing 10 of his hyper realistic pencil drawings and 6 of his less formal sketches!
These original art pieces must be seen in person to fully appreciate, so try to stop in. Keegan will be also be signing prints for customers & 'happy hour' will be served - See you there!
This Month's featured artist is plein air oil painter Robin Weiss! Robin captures the city with just the right mixture of precision mixed with magic!
Joining Robin in the gallery for the month of April will be Genna Draper, BethAnn Lawson, Keegan Hall, Joanne Shellan & of course Michael Birawer - each artist capturing the people & places in our town that we love so much!

Reggie Garrett & the Snake Oil Peddlers travel and perform regularly as an acoustic trio. The result is a musical blend that has excited and touched audiences throughout the Northwest.

We'll also have a large exhibit of Rick Duque's gorgeous atmospheric seascapes layered in mixed media & resin.
And we are so excited to unveil Michael Birawer's newest original painting "View from West Seattle"!

Back when our gallery was still on Alki Beach we used to have neighbor & friend Jeff Hayes play his blues music for us all the time!
We've been missing Jeff and all the musician friends he used to bring with him to the gallery...So for an entertaining reunion, Jeff is bringing back two of our favorite past blues musicians: Steven Flynn and Brian Richard Lee for a blues trio performance not to be missed!
We hope you can join us; especially you W.S. friends, for an 'Old Home' week night of music and refreshments.

You may find it funny, but at least once a week someone walks into the gallery and asks if we have a painting with the Space Needle on it!
So, we've asked our gallery's artists to paint their own perspective of our city's trademark Space Needle along with many of the city's other trademark sights: The Market, the Great Wheel, and the Waterfront. Seattle scenes will be well represented!

What a fun idea for a fundraiser - The talented Seattle based women's choir Ancora→ is having a fundraiser in the gallery and this is how it will work: Members of the choir will be breaking into song intermittently throughout the time period, while customers enjoy delicious food & drinks and shop. 10% of all gallery sales during the event will go to Ancora-how easy is that!
They will also be holding a small contest to win one of Brooke Borcherding's paintings because sweet Brooke is a member of Ancora & an artist at Alki Arts

It has been almost a year now since Canadian Gallery owner Genna Draper→ moved to Seattle with her family. We have been missing the artwork of our good friend Carol Braden and need to fill the gallery with it. Carol's art has exploded nationally but she will always make time for her 'hometown gallery' and an art opening with old friends!

PA Mathison and Jason Lightfoot are from local heartland rock band Sightseer→, and have been playing together in and around Seattle for almost seven years. A soulful blend of Americana, country, and bluesy rock, there's a story to be told with every song.
For decades, folk artist Eric Dowdle→ has traveled the world and painted representative artworks that capture the character of the places he visits. He takes this on the road with a film crew in each episode of "Painting the Town with Eric Dowdle", on KCTS (Comcast channel 9)
His infectious personality, creative energy and interest in the individuals who populate each destination are captured in the program, as well as in his distinctive, whimsical paintings.
If you love his work we have his Seattle originals in the gallery or we can order reproductions for you!
This month we are featuring one of our favorite local artists C.A. Pierce→ with her gorgeous dream-like abstracted acrylic on canvas landscapes.
